Sample: Home Buyer Report

The Home Buyer Report previously known as ‘Homebuyers’ survey and Valuation (HSV) was introduced in 2009 and is completed within a standard format as laid down by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The service we provide includes the Surveyor inspecting the property and reporting on its’ overall condition, providing photographs a Building Insurance calculation and an Open Market Valuation.

This report is not as comprehensive as a Building Survey and is designed to provide the client with a more general overall of the standard of repair of the property at the time of the inspection.

The report is colour coded (a bit like a traffic light system – Red, Amber, Green) to assist you with your decision making process.

You are able to speak to the actual Surveyor carrying out your Survey before the inspection. You may have issues or concerns which you would like the Surveyor to consider and pay specific attention to in his report.
